IMPORTANCE OF HANDS-ON LEARNING

Children love sensory play, messy experiments and hands on activities. While it seems the children are ‘just playing’ during this time they are actually learning quite a bit. Hands on activities are important for children to develop and practice many different skills such as:

-Exploring the child’s senses.

-Developing Mathematical skills.

-Fine and Gross Motor skills.

-Developing Language and conversation skills.

All of this learning takes place while the children are having fun! Encourage your child natural curiosity and help them learn.
